A Sole Source Contract to RP Professional Services
In Six Easy Steps

The Small Business Administration SBA 8(a) Sole Source vehicle enables agencies to engage in direct buy contracts with certified contractors.

As a Contract Officer, you can award a sole-source 8(a) contract to RP Professional Services if:

You determine that RP Professional Services is responsible and can perform the work.
The resulting contract can be awarded at a fair market price.
The government estimate doesn’t exceed $7 million for manufacturing requirements or $4 million for all other requirements.

Identify Requirements

The Government program manager or interested party develops a statement of work, prepares a government estimate, and obtains the necessary funding.

Decision to Sole Source

The Government program manager or interested party chooses RP Professional Services to perform the work and submits a procurement request to the agency contracting officer.

SBA Worksheet

SBA Review and Acceptance

SBA processes the Offer Letter and returns it to the agency contracting officer who submits the Statement of Work and Request for Proposal or Quotation to RP Professional Services.

Negotiations and Scope Definition

RP Professional Services submits the proposal which is evaluated and negotiated (if necessary) by the agency.

Contract Award

The contract is awarded to RP Professional Services.
