Rish Patel, CEO and Founder of RP Professional Services (RP) in 2011, has more than 20 years of leadership and management experience in the consulting industry. As CEO, Mr. Patel has grown RP from $0 to $45+ million in annual revenue. By building partner relationships, new client relationships, and leveraging existing relationships, Mr. Patel has been able to successfully diversify the company’s capabilities and offerings. Under Mr. Patel’s guidance, RP rapidly scaled its headcount by over 500% to play a critical role in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the past three years, RP has experienced 5,300% growth, as verified by Inc. 5000, ranking number 74 on their list, while also ranking number 3 on the Washington Business Journal 2022 list of Fastest Growing Companies.  

Mr. Patel started his career in business development roles, where he honed his expertise in the areas of recruitment and service delivery. He attributes his success to building strong business relationships, identifying client needs, delivering high-quality services, and hard work.   

Mr. Patel has also served as the VP of Small Business and President of the Young AFCEA program for AFCEA Bethesda Chapter and is currently involved with various philanthropic groups. He is dedicated to issues concerning food security and focuses his efforts outside of work on numerous nonprofits and philanthropic/community work, including the Dulles South Food Pantry.  

Mr. Patel earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Rhode Island. Living in Ashburn, Virginia, he is a proud Veteran, a dedicated family man, and a fan of New England sports.
