RP Pro Partners with SMYAL During Inaugural Werk Room Event

RP Professional Services (RP) is proud to announce its partnership with SMYAL (Supporting and Mentoring Youth Advocates and Leaders), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth, during the inaugural Werk Room event, which took place on January 4, 2024. 

The Werk Room is a quarterly event sponsored by RP Professional Services, designed to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) within the business community by fostering meaningful public-private partnerships. The event, led by RP’s Chief Operating Officer Nathan Kreoger, featured SMYAL as the highlighted nonprofit partner. 

For over 40 years, SMYAL has provided essential advocacy and services to LGBTQ+ youth aged 6-24, championing youth leadership while focusing on anti-oppression, trauma-informed care, and empathy-driven support. SMYAL’s work remains vital in creating safe, inclusive spaces for young LGBTQ+ individuals. 

During the Werk Room event, attendees had the opportunity to support SMYAL through fundraising efforts that raised substantial funds to further their mission. “We’re honored to partner with SMYAL and contribute to the impactful work they do,” said Kreoger. “The Werk Room embodies RP’s commitment to promoting DEIA initiatives, and we look forward to continuing our support of SMYAL at future events.”
