RP Professional Services (RP) is excited to announce a partnership with American University (AU) in Washington, D.C., in which undergraduate interns from their Kogod School of Business program provide support across RP’s Business Operations, People Operations, and Client Delivery organizations.  

The Kogod Cooperative Program (Kogod Co-Op) is part of the Kogod in Practice experiential learning initiative at American University, providing meaningful, long-term internship experience for students. After submitting to an applicant pool, students are invited to join the co-op student reserve, which gives access to job postings from a variety of AU’s employer partners, including RP. After interviewing and being selected for an internship, students apply their knowledge in a supportive workplace, while being actively engaged with best practice business tools and skills in a hands-on learning environment. 

This AU partnership closely follows behind a still standing cyber security internship partnership with George Mason University, which saw former interns, such as James Baker, joining RP in a full-time capacity. This semester, we have Juliet Kuenzler joining the team as a Business Operations Analyst.  

Juliet is a rising senior at American University, majoring in Finance and minoring in analytics. Her responsibilities as an intern include playing a role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of RP’s operations, with a particular focus on contract compliance, financial management, and administrative support. She collaborates with cross-functional teams to streamline communication and information-sharing processes, supporting the operations organization in the implementation of operational initiatives and process improvements. She also conducts contract research and collaborates with the contracts management team in order to monitor project activities.
